RESOLUTION -NO. 70
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS AUTHORIZING AMENDMENTS TO THE
AGREEMENTS HERETOFORE ENTERED INTO WITH THE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES PROVIDING FOR "LAW EN-
FORCEMENT SERVICES", "POUND SERVICES', AND "HEALTH
SERVICEStQ WITHIN THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS -
WHEREAS, the City of -Rolling Hills has heretofore
on the 1st day.of July, 1958 entered into certain agreements with
the County of Los Angeles by the terms of which said County
has agreed to provide Law Enforcement Services, Health
Services and Pound Services for the City of Rolling Hills;
and
WHEREAS, said agreements are now in full force and
effect; and
WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of both the County
of Los Angeles and. -the City of Rolling Hills to amend said
Law Enforcement Services Agreement, Pound Servi.c.es Agreement
and Health Services Agreement; and.
1NHEREAS, the County of Los,Angeles has submitted
to the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills a form of
the proposed amendment to said agreements and said amendments
so submitted are acceptable to the City Council o:f the City
of Rolling Hills;
NOW THEREFORE, BRIT RESOLVED that the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Rolling Hills be and they are here-
by authorized, empowered and directed, for and on behalf of
the City of Rolling Hills, to enter into agreements in the
form submitted to this Council to amend the provisions of the
agreements heretofore entered into with the County of Los
Angeles for "Law Enforcement Services", "Health Services", and
"Pound Services" within the geographical limits of the City of
Rolling Hills;

That the Mayor shall sign this Resolution and
the City Clerk shall attest and certify the passage and
adoption thereof and that there shall be attached to the
.permanent file copy of this Resolution a copy of said
amendments above referred to.
The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified
copy of this Resolution to the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors. .
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 23rd day of
March, 1959.
