A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY :COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREE-
MENT.WITH.THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DIST-
RICT PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT OF THE COSTS OF PREPARING
PLANS AND SPECIFICATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF STOMI,
DRAINS AND DRAINAGE CHANNELS IN ACCORDANCE WITH,.THE
PLAN FILED WITH THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
LOS ANGELES COUNTY ON AUGUST 5, 1958
TPTHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Flood Control
District has heretofore filed with the Board of Supervisors
of Los Angeles County on August 5., 1958 a report entitled
"Control of Surface Storm Waters By Storm Drains and Drainage
Channels, 1958 Program" which report gave a general description
and general location of storm drains and drainage channels to
be constructed in the City of Rolling Hills; and
WHEREAS', said Los Angeles County Flood Control
District has indicated and agreed to pay the costs of pre-
paring plans and specifications for the construction and
erection of said storm drains in the City of Rolling Hills
in accordance with said report, and in connection therewith
has submitted a form of agreement to this effect which it is
willing to execute; and
WHEREAS, said form of agreement has been submitted
to the City Council of the City of Rolling hills and is here-
by -found to be acceptable to the City Council of ::the ~°City of
Rolling Hills;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and
the City Clerk of the City of Rolling Hills be and they are
hereby authorized, empowered and directed, for and on behalf
of the City of Rolling Hills, to enter into an agreement in
the form submitted to this Council providing that the Los
Angeles County Flood Control District shall pay all costs..and
expenses incurred by said City of Rolling Hills in having
plans and specifications drawn for the construction and erection
of storm drains and drainage channels

in accordance with the report filed with the Los Angeles
County Board of Supervisors on August 5, 1958 in a sum
not to exceed Eight Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-three
and 79/100 Dollar,. 08,553-79).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall
sign this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest
and certify to the passage and adoption thereof, and
that there shall be attached to the permanent file copy
of this Resolution a copy of the form of agreement above
referred to; and
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk is
directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution
to the office of the Los Angeles County Flood Control
District.
