RESOLUTION NO. 72
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS APPROVING AND SUPPORT-
ING ASSEMBLY.BILL.1974 CONCERNING THE CON-
TROL -OF WATER.POLLUTION IN THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA
!AMREAS, there. is now pending before the
Legislature of the, State of California certain
legislation known and described as=;Assembly Bill
1974 which has for its purpose the formulation of
a State wide policy for the control of water pol-
lution and the adoption of a uniform State wide policy
with respect to health standards and wild life stand-
ards; and
WHEREAS, this problem is State wide in

nature a.nd'witally effects not only the residents of
the City of Rolling Hills but all of the residents of
the State of California; and
WHEREAS, Assembly Bill 19711_ will protect the
health of the people of the State of California and
preserve.the wild life of this State,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Rolling Hills urges the Senate
of the State of California and the Assembly of the
State of California to take the necessary affirmative
action to pass Assembly Bill 1974 at this _� s.sion of
the California.Legislature...
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that :the City Clerk
be, and he hereby is instructed to forward a certified
copy of this Resolution to the representatives of the
City of Rolling Hills' -in the California State Legis -
