A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS AUTHORIZING
THE CITY TREASURER TO WITHDRAW SURPLUS
FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL FUND AND THE "IN
LIEU' FUND OF ITS TREASURER AND TO INVEST
THE SANE IN UNITED STATES TREASURY NOTES
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills has in its treasury
surplus funds not required for the immediate necessities
and use of said City;.and
WHEREAS, Section 53601 of the Government Code of the
State of California authorizes the City of Rolling Hills to
invest said surplus funds in United States Treasury Notes,
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED that the Treasurer of
the City of Rolling Hills be authorized and empowered to
? withdraw Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) of the surplus
funds of said City from the general fund bank account on
deposit with the California Bank, 407 West Seventh Street,
San Pedro, California, the depositary of said funds; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Treasurer of the City
of Rolling Hills be authorized and empowered to withdraw
Seven Thousand Dollars 0,7,000.00) of the surplus funds of
said City from the special "In Lieut fund account No. 1 on
deposit with the California Bank, 407 West Seventh Street,
San Pedro, California, the depositary of said surplus "In
Lieu" funds; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Treasurer of the City
of Rolling Hills be authorized and empowered to invest said
funds so withdrawn from said bank accounts in ninety -day
United States Treasury Notes made payable to the City of
Rolling Hills; California.
