A RESOLUTIO14 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, PROTESTING
CHANGE OF ZONE IN ZONING CASE -No. 3962-(4)
from R -A-1 to R -A-12,000
WHEREAS, the Regional Planning Commission of the County
of Los Angles has before it an application for change of zone
from R -A-1 to R -A-12,000, said zoning case hearing No. 3962-(4),
and
WHEREAS, the real property involved in said zoning
case is located outside of the territorial limits of said
--City adjoins real property located along the easterly boundary
of said city, and
WHEREAS, the real property within the city limits of
the City of Rolling Hills and adjoining the area `.:: _ *,.
in which a; change of zone has been applied for -in said zoning
case is now zoned by the City of Rolling Hills as R -A-4 by
virtue of an iterim zoning ordinance enacted by said City,
which ordinance is now in full force and effect, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills
believes that the highest and best use of the property
'involved in zoning case No. 3962-(4) requires that said
property be zoned R -A-1;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Rolling Hills that it is opposed to the pro-
posed change of zone requested. in Zoning Case No. 3962-(4)
and that the Regional Planning Commission of the County of
Los Angeles be advised b2 .the City Councilts opposition to
said proposed change of'zone in said zoning case.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the adoption of this resolution and its approval
by the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills and thereafter
a copy of the same shall be forwarded to.the Regional Planning
Commission of the County of Los Angeles.
