�, RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS, CALI�'ORNIA, APPROVING AND
ADOPTING RESOLUTION NO.. 2 OF THE PLANNING •
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS,
� ,CAI.IFORNIA, RECONIMENDING .THE AMENDMENT OF
ORDINANCE N0. 33 OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
TO CHANGE THE ZONE OF LOTS 69-�, 69-C, 69-E,
AND 70-B.
Tn1HEREAS, there has been presented to the City
Council of the City of Rolling Hills, Resolution No. 2
of the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling Hills
recommending the amendment of Ordinance No. 33 of the City
of Rolling Hills providing for zoning in said City; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2 recommended
that certain parcels of real property designated as Lots
69-A, 69-C, 69-E and 70-B of Miscellaneous Parcels in said
City be changed from Zone R.A.S . (I) one acre to R.A.S . (II)
two acres ; and
WHERF,�iS, the City Council has heretofore read
the transcripts of the public hearings on Ma.rch 28 and
April 25, 1960 of the City Council in connection with the �

adoption of Ordinance No. 33; and
�1HEREAS, the heretofore designated parcels of
real property are located adjacent to or in an area composed
of lots or parcels of real property which are more than two
acres in area and that the property located to the North and
Northwe,st ,of said above designated par�cels of real property
are .presntly zoned R.A.S . (II) two acres and that the :
property known as Southfield, located West of the above

designated parcels of real property, are presently zoned
R.A.S . (I) one acre, and that all of above said designated
lots are greater than two acres in area and are presently
zoned R.A.S . (I) one acre by Ordinance No. 33 of Rolling
Hills ; and ,

WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the highest
and best use �for:�said above described parcels of real property,
,
and the peace, safety, health, moral and general welfare of
the residents of the said City wil�l be preserved, and that
the change of zone of said parcels of. real property from
R.A.S . (I) one acre to R.A.S . (II) two acres, is necessary to
carry out the general purpose of said Ordinance No. 33;
NOW, THERE�ORE, the City Council of the City of
Rolling Hills does resolve, determine an d order as follows:
Section 1. Resolution No. 2 of the Planning
� Commission of the City of Rolling Hills, recommending the
amendment of Ordinance No. 33 of the City of Rolling Hills
is hereby approved and adopted.
Section 2. Ordinance No. 33 of the City of Rolling
Hills shall be amended to provide that those certain parcels
of real property designated as Lots 69-A, 69-C, 69-E and 70-B
of Miscellaneous Parcels, �in said City, be changed from Zone
R.A.S . (I) one acre to Zone R.A.S . (II) two acres .
Section 3. That the City Attorney of the City of
Rolling Hills shall take the necessary steps and procedures
to amend said Ordinance No., 33 in conformity with the terms
and provisions of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED A1VD ADOPTED this 26th day of
September, 1960. .
