A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA,.
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A RENEWAL
• AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE FOR INTER-AGENCY
COOPERATION IN CIVIL DEFENSE AND DIS�STER.

�THEREAS, the City Counc-il of the City of Rolling
Hills, California, finds that it is to the best interests
of the residents of the City of Rolling Hills to renew an
agreement with the County of Los Angeles and the cities of
the South Bay District, which cities and the City of Rolling
Hills are located within Area "G" of the Civil Defense •
Region No. 1 of the �tate of California, providing for

� cooperation between said parties in the event of natural or

`� man made disaster short of war; and
� �
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City
Council of the City of Rolling Hills a form of a renewal
agreement entitled "Agreement to Provide for Inter-Agency
Cooperation in Civil Defense and Disaster" ; and
WI�REAS, the terms of said renewal agreement are
� satisfactory to the City of Rolling Hills ; �
NOTnI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor
and the City Clerk of this City be authorized to execute
for an d on behalf of the City of Rolling Hills certain
renewal agreement entitled "Agreement to Provide for
Inter-Agency Cooperation in Civil Defense and Disaster"
and said renewal agreement be in all respects exactly the
same as the one presented to this meeting, a copy thereof
being on file in the records of the City Clerk of the City
