RESOLUTION COMMENDING PHYLLIS STOCKDALE
WHEREAS, PHYLLIS STOCKDALE has served the City of
Rolling Hills as its first Deputy City Clerk, Deputy City
Treasurer, Purchasing Officer.and Secretary of the Planning
Commission for the past three years; and
WHEREAS, it is seldom that a -municipality has the.
extreme good fortune to have as -one of its-employees,a public
servant who was at all time willing.to give without reservation
of her time, effort and devotion above and beyond the ordinary
and usual duties.of her various offices to further the interests
and the affairs of the City of Rolling Hills and its citizens*;
and
WHEREAS, PHYLLIS STOCKDALE has at all times conducted
the affairs of her. various offices with astuteness and integrity
which has brought credit and distinction to the.City of Rolling
Hills in its numerous relationships with other cities of the
South Bay area.
NOW, ' THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City.of
Rolling Hills does express toPhyllis Stockdale its sincere
thanks and.appreciation for her faithful -service and untiring
efforts, and for and on behalf of the citizenry of the City
of Rolling. Hills, wishes for her all .happiness andgoodfortune
that she so justly merits in her.newly elected office as the
City Clerk of the City of Palos Verdes Estates.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be
spread upon the minutes of this meeting of the City Council
of the City of Rolling Hills and that the Mayor shall sign
the same, and a suitable copy delivered forthwith to Phyllis
Stockdale.
