The adjour-ned meeting of the City Council of the
City of :'Rolling 'Hills was called to 'Order 'by Mayor 'O BFlaher°ty
at 5030 P.M. Friday, September'14, 1962 in the City Mall

FINAL MAP --TRACT 2.7124
The City.Attorney reported that he,.Counc.ilman
Goodman. and Edward Pearson had met and discussed the letter
dated September 11, 1962 from the City Engineer and had
agreed on the language to be added to the title sheet of
the final asap of 'tract 27124 which would provide for. the
future acceptance of the street by the City as a public
street.
The City..Attor-ney further: reported that they had
checked the bonds submitted by Mro'Pearson, developer of
the Tract, the Agreement 'between the Palos Verdes Water -Co.
and the subdivider, and the new Declaration. of Restrictions
to be placed upon the property, Noo-150-1, wherein the
Association.agreed to accept and maintain the new street
The City Attorney then. recommended approval.of the
final map of Tract 27124 by the City Council.
RESOLUTION NO. 149
Thereupon., on motion of Councilman Van Note,
seconded by Councilman.GoQdman..and following discussion.in
which all.Councilmen participated,: Resolution. No. 149
entitled "A Resolution of the City Council of the City of
Rolling Kil:l.s,_ California, Approving Final Map of Tract
No. 2.7124" was adopted by the following vote,.
AYESo Coun.cilmen.Amberg, Goodman, Van Note and Mayor O'Flaherty
NOES,. None
ABSENT,. Councilman Tourtelot

EMPLOYMENT OF SECRETARY
The City Manager recommended that Mrs Dana D. -York
be employed .as a secretary in the City office beginning
September. 24, 1962 at a monthly salary .of $3.75000. It was
moved by Councilman Goodman ,and seconded by Councilman Van Note
that Mrso,Dana Do York be employed.at $375000 per.month,
effective September 24,.19620 .The motion.,was carried by the
following vote
AYES. Councilmen.Amberg,.Goodman,, Van Note.and Mayor'O'Flaherty
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Tourtelot
ADJOURNMENT
Thidt6being no further business to come before the
meeting,"it was moved by Councilman. Van -Note,, seconded by
Councilman. Amberg and unanimously carried that the meeting be
adjourned at 6:15 P.M.
