0120RESOLUTION NO. 120 A RESOLUTION.OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA,,ENDORSING ASSEMBLY BILL 211, 1961 REGULAR SESSION, CALIFORNIA STATE LEGISLATURE, FOR THE FUTURE ESTABLISHMENT OF SANTA MONICA BAY (FISH AND GAME DISTRICT 19A) AS A RECREATIONAL AREA PRIMARILY FOR SPORT - FISHING AND AS MORE SPECIFICALLY STATED IN ASSEMBLY BILL 211. WHEREAS, ocean fishing is a form of recreation beneficial to the well being of the citizens of this city and neighboring communities, and WHEREAS, the protection of the fisheries in.the bay is important in providing recreational fishing for those who enjoy the great outdoors, and WHEREAS, the intent of Assembly Bill 211 is to further protect the fisheries in the bay for recreational use, therefore BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City zr of Rolling Hills endorse Assembly Bill 211, and ;-„ BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution'be sent to the State Senator and Assemblyman representing this city in the State Legislature,.the Chairman.of the Assembly Fish and Game Committee and the Chairman of the Senate Fish and Game Committee.
