RESOLUTION NO. 122
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, ENDORSING ASSEMBLY
BILL 2848, SENATE BILL 1522 AND ASSEMBLY BILL 2002
WHEREAS, there is now pending in the Legislature of
the State of California, Assembly Bill 2848 introduced by
Assemblyman Clark Bradley and Setnate Bill 1522 introduced by
Senators Miller and Burns and Assembly Bill 2002 introduced
by Assemblyman Higland
WHEREAS, the aforementioned Bills provide generally
that cities may withdraw from participation in "recreation and
park districts" and county fire protection districts; and
WHEREAS, the City
Hills is of the opinion that
withdraw from said districts
services to their residents;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City
Council of the City of Rolling Hills does recommend endorse-
ment of Assembly Bill 2848, Assembly Bill 2002; and Senate
Bill 1522; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be
directed to forward copies of this Resolution to all members
of the respective Committees now holding Hearings on these
Bills; -to State Senator Richard Richards and to Assemblyman
Charles . E . Chapel; and .to ',the Office of the * League of
California Cities.
