A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, -APPOINTING A
CITY TREASURER, AND FIXING THE TERMS OF
APPOINTMENT -AND COMPENSATION THEREFOR
WHEREAS, the Petition for incorporation.of the City
of Rolling Hills, California, provides for the appointment
of all officers of the City other than Councilmen, by the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, heretofore the City°Councilhas appointed
Lloyd W. Hully as City Treasurer of said City, and the said
Lloyd W. Hully has resigned as City Treasurer, effective
July 1, 1961; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and=desirable that said
City Council now appoint a new City Treasurer to replace the
said Lloyd W. Hully;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE,fIT RESOLVED that Marion Welch
be, and he is hereby appointed by the City Council of the City
of Rolling Hills to the office of City Treasurer; and'
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that upon his qualification
and acceptance of said office, he shall hold said office at
the pleasure of the`City Council, effective as of July 1, 1961,
and without compensation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign
this resolution and City Clerk shall attest and certify to
the passage and adoption thereof.

July, 1961.
