A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA_,' -AUTHORIZING T. B. ROACH, JR.,
AS MAYOR, AND FRED I.-TOURTELOT, AS -MAYOR PRO TEMPORE,
AND MARION WELCH, -AS CITY TREASURER, AND MARY LOUISE POWERS,
AS DEPUTY CITY TREASURER, TO SIGN ON THE BANK ACCOUNTS
OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills has heretofore
established bank accounts for the deposit of funds of said
City in the -United California Bank; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 118 provides that:
"William G. Horn, Mayor,.or Fred I. Tourtelot,
Mayor Pro Tempore,.and Lloyd W. Hully, City Treasurer,
or Mary Louise Powers, Deputy City Treasurer, were author-
ized to sign checks, drafts, trade acceptances, counter
checks or orders for and on behalf of this City and to
endors„e the same on behalf of this City for deposit,
encashment or otherwise” and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM G. HORN has resigned as Mayor,
and T. B. ROACH, JR. is now the Mayor of said City, and
WHEREAS, LLOYD W. HULLY has resigned as City
Treasurer, and MARION WELCH has been duly appointed and
qualified as City Treasurer of said City.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that.T. B. Roach, Jr.,
Mayor, or Fred I. Tourtelot, Mayor Pro Tempore, and Marion
Welch, City Treasurer, or Mary Louise Powers, Deputy City
Treasurer, be and they are hereby authorized to sign checks;
drafts, trade acceptances, counter checks or orders for and
on behalf of this City and that each of them be and
they are hereby authorized to endorse checks, drafts, trade
acceptances, notes or orders for and on behalf of this City
for deposit, encashment or otherwise, and said Bank is
hereby authorized to honor and pay on account of this City
any and all checks, drafts, trade acceptances, counter
checks, notes or orders signed -and/or endorsed in accordance
he-rewith. This City agrees to pay said Bank on demand the
amount of any overdrafts on.said account. Said Bank is
authorized to send by unregistered mail to the last known
address of the City on file with the Bank statements and
cancelled checks not called for within three months..,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED ,,that this Resolution shall
be effective and in full force and effect as of the 10th
day of July, 1961.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of
July, 1961.
