A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, FIXING
THE RATE OF TAXES�FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING JULY 1, 1961 AND ENDING JUNE 302 1962
WHEREAS, by ordinance heretofore adopted pursuant
to the provisions of Section 51508 of -the Government'Code
of the State of California, the City Council fixed
$73,711.00`as the amount of revenue from property.taxes
necessary to support the departments of the City of
Rolling Hills for the current fiscal year commencing
July 1, 1961 and ending June 30, 1962; and
WHEREAS, the total assessed value of all property
within the City of Rolling Hills is $7,759,060.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 51511 of
the Government Code of the State of California, the City
Council of the City of Rolling Hills does resolve as
follows:
1. RESOLVED that there is hereby levied for
municipal purposes upon each ONE HUNDRED ($100.00) DOLLARS
worth (assessed valuation) of property in the City of
Rolling Hills, exclusive.of property which is tax exempt,
for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1961 and ending
June 30, 1962, a tax of $0.9500.
2. RESOLVED FURTHER that the City Clerk shall
,certify to the passage of this resolution by the City
Council of the City of Rolling Hills and cause the same to
be posted in three (3) conspicuous places in the City of
Rolling Hills, and it shall take effect immediately..
3. RESOLVED FURTHER that the City Clerk be,
and he hereby is, instructed to file with the County
Auditor of the County of Los Angeles on or before
September 1, 1961, a certified copy of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of
August, 1961.

on the 28th day of August, 1961, and that the same was
passed and adopted by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen Nielsen, Tourtelot and Roach
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmen Horn and O'Flaherty
