A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF .THE COUNTY7.10F LOS. ANGELES TO
.PERMIT THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS.OF SAID COUNTY
TO RENDER.SPECIFIED SERVICES .TO THE CITY OF,
ROLLING HILLS RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF A
GENERAL MUNICIPAL.ELECTION TO BE MELD IN SAID
CITY ON APRIL 1.01 1962.
WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election is to be held
in the City of Rolling Hills, California, on April 10, 1962:;
and
WHEREAS, in.the.course of conduct of said election
it will.be necessary to mail sample ballots and any other
material required by law to the registered voters of said
City, and'it will facilitate such mailing if the Registrar
of Voters of the.Count.y of Los Angeles will imprint the name;
date of election as well as the names and addresses of the
registered voters and polling places on address inserts furnished
by the City, and enclose,said inserts with sample ballots and
any other material required by law.in envelopes furnished by
said City, pursuant to the provisions of Section 22003 of the
Elections Code; and
WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing these
services will be paid by the City upon presentation of a bill
from the County for such services;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Rolling Hills does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as
follows:
Section 1. That the City Clerk is hereby directed
to forward without delay to said Board of Supervisors and to
said Registrar of Voters each a certified copy of this resolu-
tion.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of January,
1962.
