RESOLUTION NO. 138
A RESOLUTION OF THE.CITY._COUNCIL_OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 135 ENTITLED "A RESOLUTION OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS,
CALIFORNIA, ORDERING,.CALLING, AND PROVIDING
FOR THE -GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE
HELD ON THE 10TH DAY OF APRIL, 1962"
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling
Hills did, on the 22nd day of January, 1962, pass, approve and
adopt Resolution No. 135 entitled "A Resolution of the City
Council of the City of Rolling Hills, California, Ordering,
Calling, and Providing for the General Municipal Election
to be.Held on the 10th day of April, 1962"; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No..135.provided.in Section
3 thereof for the establishment of.voting precincts, voting
places, and for the appointment of_i officers.: of .the election
to hold said General Municipal Election; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Sarah Amberg was by said Resolution No.
135 appointed Judge of Voting Precinct 1 with a polling place
at the City -Hall, No. 1 Portuguese Bend Road, City of Rolling
Hills, California; and
WHEREAS, said Mrs, Sarah Amberg is unable to act as a
judge at said General Municipal Election to be held on the 10th
day of April, 1962 and has resigned as one of the officers of
said election; and
'-WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City Council of the
City of Rolling Hills to appoint a.new.judge for Voting Precinct
1 to hold said General Election on the 10th day of April, 1962;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that KATHRYN W. ISSLIEB
be appointed the Judge of Voting Precinct 1, the polling place
which is located at the City Hall of the City of Rolling Hills,
California, No. 1 Portuguese Bend Road, in the place and stead
of Mrs. Sarah Amberg.
This Resolution shall take effect upon its,adoption.
