A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, IN THE COUNTY OF
LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DE-
CLARING THE RESULT OF:THE GENERAL ELEC-
TION HELD ON TUESDAY, THE 10TH DAY OF
APRIL, 1962., IN SAID CITY
WHEREAS, a general municipal election was�held
and conducted -in the City of Rolling Hills on Tuesday, the
10th day of April, 1962, as required by the laws of the
State of California; and
WHREAS, it appears that notice of said election
was duly and legally given; voting precincts were properly
established; election officers were appointed and election
supplies secured; and that in all respects said election
was held and conducted and votes cast thereat, received and
canvassed, and -returns thereof made and declared in the time,
form and manner as required by the general laws of the State
of California governing said election in said City; and
WHEREAS the Cit Council of said Cit met in the

d Council Chambers of the Council on Tuesday, the 17th day
of April, 1962, to canvass the returns of said election
and as a result of said canvass the council finds -that
the number of votes cast and the names of the persons voted
for as required by law to be canvassed to be as hereinafter
stated;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Rolling Hills, California, as follows:
Section 1.
That the general municipal election was held
and conducted in the City of Rolling Hills on Tuesday,
the 10th day of April, 1962, in the time, form and manner
as required by law; that there was one voting precinct
established for the purpose of holding said election.
Section 2.
That the names of the persons and the offices
for which they were voted and the number of votes given in
each precinct to each of said persons, together with the
whole number of votes which they received in the entire City,
are as follows:

Section 3.
That the whole number of votes cast at the
general municipal election in the City of Rolling Hills on
Tuesday, the 10th day of April, 1962, was 1246.
Section 4.
That -as a result of said general municipal election
held and conducted in the City of Rolling Hills on Tuesday,
the 10th day of.April, 1962, the City Council of the City
of Rolling Hills does hereby declare under Section 22932
of the Election Code of the State of California that the
following persons received the highest number of votes
cast in said City and are hereby declared elected to their
respective offices:

Section 5.
The City Clerk shall certify to.the adoption of
this resolution and its approval by the City Council of the
City of Rolling Hills, and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
