A RESOLUTION'OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY TO ORDER
THE CANCELLATION OF ALL CURRENT -.AND DELINQUENT
TAXES AND ASSESSMENT LIENS ON CERTAIN PROPERTY
ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills, a municipal,
corporation in the County of Los Angeles, State of Cali-
fornia, has purchased the hereinafter described'real
property with the.improvementsthereon, and is now the
owner of the 'fee 'simple estate thereof -by virtue, of. that
certain grant deed dated September 10, 1962, wherein
Palos Verdes Properties.is the grantee and_the..City of.
Rolling Hills, a municipal corporation, is the grant .or'.
which deed is recorded in Book D1793, Page 580, Official
Records of Los Angeles County on October 18, 1962, said
real property being described as follows:,.
That portion of Lot 25 bf.LR6.11ing'1_Hi1ls:;:
the City of Rolling Hills, County of Los

recorded in Book` 20,1, Peges 29 to 35 of
Maps, Records of said County, described
as follows:
Beginning at the most easterly corner of
said lot; thence, along the southeasterly
corner thereof, South 25029' 55" West
282.18 feet; thence North 660 49' 30" West
167.95 feet; thence North 250 29' 55" East
333.74 feet to a point in the northeasterly
boundary of said lot�'and the southwesterly
line of Palos Verdes Drive North as it now
exists 200 feet-w1de.;.. thence, along said
southwesterly4 ine South 490 33' 40" East
173.58 feet to the posint of beginning.
Also that por0tion of Lot "H" of Rancho Los
Palo.s Verdes in the City of Rolling Hills
Estates, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, allotted to Jotham Bixby by
Decree of Partition in action "Bixby et al
vs. -Bent et al," Case No. 2373 in the
District Court of the Seventeenth Judicial
District of said State, in and for said
County of Los Angeles, and entered in Book 4
Page 57 of Judgments, in the Superior Court
of said County, described' as follows:
That portion of the southwesterly one-half
of Palos Verdes Drive North, 200 feet wide,
as shown on said Map -of Rolling Hills,
lying between the northeasterly prolongation
of the northwesterly and southeasterly
boundary of the -above-described portion of
Lot 25 of Rolling Hills; and

WHEREAS, said real property is situated within,
the corporate limits of the City of Rolling Hills; and
WHEREAS, improvements on said real property
consist of a wooden office building, a wooden garage and
accessory building, which improvements are presently
being used by the City of Rolling Hills as a City Hall
and Administration Office, which uses are for public
purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE.IT RESOLVED that the City
of Rolling Hills petitions the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Los Angeles, State of California, to order
the cancellation of all current and delinquent taxes and
assessment liens on said property legally taxable by the
proper County officials pursuant to Section 4986 of the
Revenue and Taxation Code.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of
November, 1962.

on the 13th day of November, 1962, and that the same was
passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:

Mayor O'Flaherty
