A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO ESTIMATE
THE POPULATION OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS
WHEREAS, Section 194.2 of the -Streets and High-
ways Code of the State of California provides that the
Department of.Finance-may make an estimate of the -population
in any city or city and county; and
,WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that
there has-been an increase in -the population of the City
of Rolling Hills since the taking of the last Federal census;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and
the City Clerk.of the City of Rolling Hills be authorized
`p to execute an agreement in the form presented to this
Council with the Department .df' Finance of -the State of
California, authorizing said Department to estimate -the
population -of the City of Rolling"Hills.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk for-
ward a certified copy of this resolution to the Department
of Finance of the State of California along with said
executed agreement. -
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 8t day of April,
1963.
