A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY -COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS AUTHORIZING EXEC-
UTION OF REVISED HEALTH SERVICES'AGREEMENT
WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES'FOR_THE
PROVISION OF SUCH SERVICES WITHIN THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS.
WHEREAS, Sections 480, 481 and 482 of the Health
and Safety Code of the State of California-,a.uth-or ,ze.. ci-ties
through contract to secure enforcement of ordinances relat-
ing to public health and sanitation by the health officer
of the county in which such city is located; and
WHEREAS.: >the City Council of the Citi .of Rolling"
Hills desires to take advantage of the provisions of said
Sections of the Health and Safetiy Code of.the State of
California; and f
WHEREAS the County of Los Angeles has indicated -- -
its willingness -to provide such services on a contract
basis for the City of.Rolling Hills, and in connection
therewith has submitted a.form of agreement which it has
indicated'its willingness to execute; and -
WHEREAS said form of agteement has been submitted
to the 'City Council of the City of Rolling -Hills -and is
hereby found to be acceptable -to the City Council of the
City of Rolling Hills;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and
the City Clerk of the City of Roliing Hills be, and they
are hereby authorized, empowered and directed for and on
behalf of the City of Rolling Hills to enter into -an agree-
ment in the form submitted to this Council for the provi-sion
by the County of Los Angeles of enforcement of•all ordin-
ances.of the City of Rolling Hills relating to=public health
and sanitation, and the making by said County through its
health officer of all inspections and the performance by
said County through its health officer of all functions in
connection:therewith; and further
BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign this
Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest and certify'to
the passage and adoption hereof, and that there shall be
attached to the permanent file copy of this Resolution a
copy of the form of agreement above referred to; and further
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to
forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Clerk of
the Board of Supervisors and to the Chief Administrative
Office, County of Los Angeles.
