A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN�
AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES PROVIDING
FOR THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE BUILDING CODE, THE
PLUMBING CODE -,.AND THE ELECTRICAL CODE OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS
WHEREAS; •-the- City Council of the. City of Rolling Hills,
California; has,adopted,ordinances-setting forth the build-
ing code, plumbing code, and electrical;code.,for said City;
and f,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills
desires to enter into an agreement with the -County of Los
Angeles for the enforcement of said codes by said County;
and
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has submitted to
this Council a form of agreement to supersede the agreement
entered into by this City with the County of Los Angeles
under date of the 12�h day ofA-August y, 1964, adopted and
approved by this Council under Resolution No. 36, under
which it is willing to undertake the enforcement of the
building code, plumbing code, and electrical code of the
City of Rolling Hills; and
WHEREAS, said form of agreement is acceptable to this
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that'the Mayor and the
City Clerk of the City.of Rolling Hills be and they hereby
are authorized, empowered and directed, for and on behalf
of the City of Rolling Hills, to enter into an agreement
in the form submitted to this Council for the enforcement
-by the County of Los Angeles, through its Division of
Building and Safety, of the Department of County Engineers,
of the building, plumbing and electrical codes of the City
of Rolling Hills;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign this
Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest and certify to
the passage and adoption thereof and that there shall be
attached to the permanent file copy of this Resolution a
copy of the form of agreement referred to.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed
to forward a certified copy -of this Resolution to the Clerk
of the Board of Supervisors, to the Building and Safety
Division of the Department of County Engineers, and to the
Chief Administrative Office, County of Los'Angeles.
