A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY-COUNCILOF ,THE .,CI.TY
OF ROLLING HILLS,.CALIFORNIA,.AUTHORIZING�IG
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY
OF.LOS ANGELES `FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES
WITHIN THE ._C.LTY ..OF . ROLLING HILLS., CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS'..— .Ci-ty, .Council of. the: Ci,py. of .Rolling
Hills desires.to provide law enforcement services within
said City; and
-WHEREAS, the County of Los.Angeles has . indicated
its.willingness.to.pk6vide such services...on a contract basis
for said City, and in connection therewith has submitted a
form of agreement which it has indicated its willingness
to execute; and
WHEREAS, the form of said agreement has been:sub-
mitted to the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills and
is hereby found to be acceptable to the said City Council
of the City.of-Rolling Hills;.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor ad
the City Clerk of the City of Rolling Hills be and they are -
hereby authorized and empowered and directed for and on be-
half of the.City of Rolling Hills to enter into an agreement
in the form submitted to this Council for the provision by
the County of Los Angeles of law enforcement services within
the geographical limits of the City of Rolling Hills; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor shall sign
this Resolution and the City Clerk shall attest andcertify
to the passage and adoption thereof, and that there shall be
attached to the permanent file copy of this Resolution a
copy of the form of agreement above referred to; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City -Clerk is
directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution
to the Clerk of the Board.of'Supervisors, to the County
Sheriff's Office, and to the Chief Administrative Office of
the County of Los Angeles.

all at a regular meeting thereof held on the tenth day of
February, 1964, and that the same was passed and adopted by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Tourtelot; O'Flaherty, Van Note,
and Mayor -Pro Tem Goodman
