RESOLUTION NO. 178
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS,.IN THE COUNTY -OF
LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DE
GLARING THE RESULT OF THE GENERAL ELEC-
TION HELD ON TUESDAX,.THE 14TH DAY OF
APRIL 1964,. � IN. SAID CITY `
WHEREAS, a'genera-l'municipal election was 'held and
"conducted'in the City -of Rolling:.Hills on Tuesday; the 14th
day of April, 1964, as required by the laws° of the State
of California; and
WHEREAS, it appears°that notice7of said election was
duly.and legally given;.voting precincts were properly
established; election''officer. were .appointed and election
supplies secured; and that in all respects said election
was held and conducted and votes cast thereat, received and
canvassed, and returns thereof made and declared in the time,
form and manner as required by the general laws.of the. State
of California governing said election in said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City met in the Council
Chambers of the Counccil on Tuesday, the 21st day of April,
1964, to canvas's the returns of said election and as a result
of said•canvass the council finds that the number of votes
cast and the names of the persons voted for as required by
law to be canvassed to be as hereinafter stated; ,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Rolling Hills, California, as follows:
Section 1.
That the general municipal election was held and
conducted in the City of Rolling Hills on Tuesday, the -14th
day of April, 1964, in the time, form and manner'as required
by law,; that there wereo;GwovvotiBgppreainetasesbatilsliedoforhthe
purpose of.holding said election.
Section 2.
That the names of the persons and the offices for which'
they were voted and the number of votes given in each precinct
to each of said persons, together with the whole number of
votes which they received in the entire City, are as follows:

That the whole number of votes cast at the general
municipal election in the City of Rolling Hills on Tuesday,
the 14th day of April, 1964, was 863.
Section 4.
That as a result of said general municipal election -
held and conducted in the City of Rolling Hills on Tuesday,
the 14th day of Apiil, 1964, the City Council of the City
of Rolling Hills does hereby declare under Section 22932
of the Election Code of the State°of California 'that the
following persons received the highest number of votes
cast in: said City and are hereby declared elected'to their
respective offices

Section 5.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and its approval by the City Council of the
City of. Rolling Hills, and thereafter the same shall be
