A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE. RATE
OF TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
JULY 1, 1964 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1965
.WHEREAS, by resolution. heretofore adopted pursuant
to the provisions of Section 51508 of the Government'Code of
the -State of California, -the City Council fixed $87,301000
as the:amount of revenue from property taxes necessary to
support,.:the .departments of the City of Rolling Hills for the
current fiscal year. commencing July 1, 1964 and ending June 30,
1965; and
WHEREAS, the total assessed value of all property
within the City of Rolling Hills is $8,730.,150.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 51511 of the
Government Code of the State of California, the City Council
of the City of Rolling Hills does resolve as follows:
le RESOLVED that there is hereby levied for
municipal purposes upon each ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100000)
worth (assessed valuation) of property in the City of Rolling
Hills, exclusive of property which is tax exempt, for the
fiscal year commencing July 1, 1964 and ending June 30, 1965,
a tax of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00).
2. RESOLVED FURTHER that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution by the City Council
of the City of Rolling Hills and cause the same to be posted
in three (3) conspicuous places in the City of Rolling Hills,
and it shall take effect immediately.
3. RESOLVED FURTHER that the City Clerk be, and
she hereby is, instructed to file with the County Auditor
of the County of Los Angeles on or before September 1, 1964
a certified copy of this resolution.

No. 184 was passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Rolling Hills, California, signed by the Mayor of said City and

on the twenty-fourth day of August, 1964 and that the same was
passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fay, Goodman, Tourtelot and Mayor Van Note
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Klein
