A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT OF
E. L. PEARSON AND ASSOCIATES TO PREPARE PLANS
AND SUPPORTING DATA FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
STORM DRAINS AND DRAINAGE CHANNELS IN THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS, AS REQUIRED BY THE WRITTEN
AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO BETWEEN THE LOS
ANGELES COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT AND
THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS ON MARCH 8, 1965.
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills has heretofore executed
and entered into a written agreement with -the Los Angeles County
Flood Control District for the construction of certain storm drains
and drainage channels in the City of Rolling Hills; as authorized
by the.electorate of the County of Los Angeles on the third day of
November, 1964; and
WHEREAS, by the terms of said agreement,,.the City of

Rolling Hills is required to complete and deliver to the Chief
ct Engineer of said District, the necessary plans and supporting data
for inclusion in the specifications for the construction of said
storm drains and drainage channels; and
WHEREAS, said agreement further provides that the City of
Rolling Hills shall be reimbursed for the cost incurred by said City
in preparing said plans and supporting data, and the City Council
has elected to employ the engineering firm of E."L. Pearson and
Associates, for the purpose of preparing said plans and supporting
data, all in accordance with said agreement with said Flood Control
District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the
City. Clerk of the City of Rolling Hills are empowered and authorized
to employ E. L. Pearson and Associates for the purpose of preparing
plans and supporting data and the necessary engineering work for
said storm drains and drainage channels in accordance with the
agreement entered into by the City with the Flood•Control District
dated the 8th day of March, 1965.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the employment of E. L.
Pearson and Associates is conditioned upon that engineering firm's
accepting the same subject to all the terms and provisions of said
agreement dated the 8th day of March, 1965.
