A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE RATE
OF TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 19
1965 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1966.
WHEREAS by resolution heretofore adopted pursuant to
the provisions of Section 51508 of the Government Code of the
State of California, the City Council fixed $87,860:.00` as the
amount of revenue from property taxes necessary to'support the
departments of the City of Rolling" Hills 'for the current' fiscal
year commencing July 1, 1965 and ending June 30; 1966; and
WHEREAS, the total assessed value of all property with nr
the City of Rolling Hills is 10,982,570.00;

NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Section .51511 of the Govern-
of'the State of California: the City Council of the City
Hills does resolve as follows:
1. RESOLVED that there is hereby levied -for municipal
purposes upon each ONE.HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) worth (assessed
valuation) of property in the City of. Rolling Hills, exclusive
of property which is tax exempt, for the fiscal year commencing
July 1, 1965 and ending„June 30, 1966, a'tax of EIGHTY CENTS (80c,%)
2. RESOLVED FURTHER that the City Clerk shall certify''
to the passage of this resolution by the City Council of the City
of Rolling Hills, and cause the same to be posted in three (3)
conspicuous places in the City of Rolling dills, and it shall
take effect immediately.
3. RESOLVED FURTHER that the City Clerk be', and she
hereby is, in-structed to file with the County Auditor of the County
of Los Angeles on or `befo`re September 1, 1965 a certified copy of
this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of August,
1965.
