A,: RESOLUTION- OF THE CITY COUNCIL
AMENDING . THE ZONING , MAP OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of this City,has here-
tofore adopted a Resolution recommending to this Council that the
area designated as RAS -5 Zone by Ordinance No. 33 of said City
be changed and designated to be RAS -2 Zone; and said Resolution
also recommende& to'this Council that the'Zoning Map of this City,.
which is made a, part of Ordinance No. 33 of this City -by Section
2.02.thereof, be amended to change the area thereon now designated
RAS -5 to RAS -2.; and
WHEREAS, this Council has held a Public Hearing on the
proposed change of Zone, as required by Section 5.10 of said
Ordinance No. 33 and Chapters 3 and 4 of Title 7 of the Government
Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, no person appeared in person or by communication
in opposition to said proposed change of Zone at said Public Hearing;
and
WHEREAS, -This Council has accepted and approved this
resolution and recommendation of the Planning Commission, and has
determined that the highest and best use of the land in the RAS -5
_..Zone requires that the area requirement now established in said
Zone should be reduced to RAS -2,
NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED that the City`Manager be
instructed to take the necessary steps to cause the Zoning Map of
this City to be amended to provide for the change of the area re-
quirement from RAS -5 to RAS -2.
