RESOLUTION NO. 233
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS RELATING TO THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN
TERRITORY FROM THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS TO THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS ESTATES
The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills does
resolve as.follows: ,o
SECTION 1. It is hereby requested that the territory
now lying within the City of Rolling Hills, as more particularly
described on the attached Exhibit A incorporated herein by reference,
to be transferred to the City of Rolling Hills Estates pursuant to
Title 4, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 1, Article 4.5 of the Govern-
ment Code of the State of California. Said City of Rolling Hills
Estates is contiguous to said City of Rolling Hills and both Cities
are located within the County of Los Angeles.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adopt-
ion of this resolution and cause the same to be filed with the Board
of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles to initiate proceedings
for said.transfer pursuant to,sai_d provisions of the Government. Code.
Adopted and approved this 23rd day of September, 1968.

DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS ESTATES
(DETACHMENT FROM THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS)
Commencing at a point in that certain course having a bearing and length
of North,710 45' 25" East 261.39 feet in the center.11he!of the 80 foot
strip of land described in Parcel A of deed to the County of Los Angeles
for Crensahw Boulevard recorded in Book 55379, page 72 of Official
Records, in the office of the Recorder of the County ofLos Angeses,
said point being South 7.1° 45'°25'' -West along said certain course 151.63
feet from the easterly termiinus• thereof; thence South 18q-14'135" East
at right angles to said certain course 10.00 feet to a line parallel with

and 10 feet southerly, measured at right angles, from said certain course;
thence northeasterly along a curve concave to the northwest, tangent to
said parallel line and having a radius of 1000 feet a distance of'470.52
feet to a point herein designated Point "A", a radial of said curve to
the westerly prolongation of the northerly line of Lot 170 as shown on
Los.Angeles County Assessor's Map No. 51 recorded in Book 1, page 1 of
Assessor's Maps, in the office of said recorder; thence easterly along
said curve to the westerly prolongation and:r;;.E; northerly line to an
angle point in the boundary of the City of Rolling Hills as same exist-
ed on February 18, 1966, said angle point being a point in the south-
easterly line of Crenshaw Boulevard, 80 feet wide, as described in
Parcel A of deed to the County of Los Angeles recorded in Book 32445,
page 154 of said Official Records, said angle point also being the true
point of beginning; thence easterly °al'ong said .northyerly line to a curve
concentric with and 75 feet southeasterly, measured radially, from said
1000 foot radius curve; thence southwesterly along said concentric curve
to a radial thereof which passes through above designated Point "A";
thence North 450.12' 07" West along said radial 15.00 feet to a curve
concentric with and 60 feet southeasterly, measured radially, from said
1000 foot radius curve; thence southeasterly along said straight line to
a line parallel with and 45.00 feet southeasterly, measured at right
angles, from said northwesterly line; thence southwesterly parallel
with said northwesterly line 180.00 feet; thence northwesterly at right
angles to said northwesterly line 45.00 feet to said boundary of the
City of Rolling Hills; thence northeasterly along said boundary to said
true point of beginning.
