RESOLUTION NO. 239
A RESOLUTION Of THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING MILLS,. CALIFORNIA, FIXING
THE RATE OF TAXES FOR THE'FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING JULY 1, 1969 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1.970
WHEREAS, by resolution heretofore adopted pursuant
to the provisions of Section 51508 of the Government Code of the
State of California, the City Council fixed $141,393.00 as the
amount of revenue from property taxes necessarto support the
departments of the City of Rolling ' Hills fortL current fiscal year
commencing July 1, :1969 and ending June 30, 1970; and
WHEREAS, the total assessed value of all property
within the City of Rolling Hills is_$1.4,139,300.00,
NOW, THEREFORE,.pursuant to Section 51511 of the
Government Code of the State of California, the City Council of
the City of Rolling Hills does resolve as follows:
1. RESOLVED that there is hereb (levied for
municipal purposes upon each ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (100.00) worth
(assessed valuation) of property in the City of Rolling Hills,
exclusive of property which is tax exempt, for the fiscal year
commencingJuly 1, 1969 and ending June 30, 1970, a tax of ONE.
DOLLAR ($1.00).
2. RESOLVED FURTHER that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution by the City Council, -of
the City of Rolling Hills, and cause the same to be posted in.
three (3) conspicuous places in the City of Rolling Hills, and it
shall take effect immediately.
3. RESOLVED FURTHER that the City Clerk be, and
she .hereby is, instructed to file with.the Countyy Auditor of the
County of Los Angeles on or before September 1, 1969, a certified
copy of this resolution.
