A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS RE: SCAG AIRPORT STUDY
d. urges SCAG after such reexamination of its assump-
tions to hold public hearings to assure availability
of all pertinent evidence prior to reaching any
conclusions with regard to the basis for recommended
system concepts.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills
has been invited to examine the SCAG Airport Sutdy Authority's
document, "Alternative Airport Systems Concepts," and
WHEREAS such studies are of very great potential
significance to this area, and
WHEREAS our examination has revealed that the subject
report reaches conclusions which are potentially deleterious
to the best overall interests -of this and neighboring commu-
nities, and further
WHEREAS this study has revealed that the conclusions
of subject report are based on assumptions whose validity is

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Rolling

a. compliments SCAG on sgon.soring such a study,

b. proposes modifications of said study,
C. urges SCAG to reexamine the validity of the basic
assumptions in said study, particularly those
with respect to demand
d. urges SCAG after such reexamination of its assump-
tions to hold public hearings to assure availability
of all pertinent evidence prior to reaching any
conclusions with regard to the basis for recommended
system concepts.
