A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE RATE OF
TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 12 1972
AND ENDING JUNE 302 1973
WHEREAS, by resolution heretofore;4adopt edvpursuant to the
provisions of Section 51508 of the Government Code of the State of
California, the City Council fixed $170,914 as the amount of revenue
from property taxes necessary to support the departments of the City of
Rolling Hills for the current fiscal year commencing July 1, 1972 and
ending June 30, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the total assessed value of all property within
the City of Rolling Hills is $17,990,925.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 51511 of the Govern-
ment,Code of the State of California, the City Council of the City of
f.. Rolling Hills does resolve as follows:
1. RESOLVED that there is hereby levied for municipal
V purposes upon each ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) worth (assessed valu-
L.) at ion) of property in the City of Rolling Hills, exclusive of property
which is tax exempt, for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1972 and
ending June 30, 1973, a tax of NINETY-FIVE CENTS ($.95).
2. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Clerk shall certify
to the passage of this resolution by the City Council of the City of
Rolling Hills, and cause the same to be posted in three (3) conspicu-
ous places in the City of Rolling Hills, and it shall take effect
immediately.
3. RESOLVED'=FURTHER that the City Clerk be,:and she
hereby is, instructed -t6 file with the County Auditor of the County
of Los Angeles on or before September 1, 1972'a certified copy of
this resolution. _
