A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS URGING THE ADOPTION OF AN INTERIM
LOCAL OPEN SPACE PLAN
It is hereby resolved that the City Council of the City
of Rolling Hills recommends and urges that the Regional Planning
Commission and the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los
Angeles, pursuant to the requirements of the Government Code,
Article 10.5 (Open Space Lands Act) (Added by STATS 1970ch1590
paragraph 15), Sections 65560 through 65568, as amended by
Assembly Bill 966, Chapter 251, Sections 65302, 65563, 65700
and 65910 of the Government Code,
Do adopt and affirm as the interim local open -space plan,
as the open -space element of the County General Plan,
and as the open space portion of the land -use element
of the General Plan,
that portion of the Environmental Development Guide
approved by the Regional Planning Commission on
September 1, 1970 and adopted by the Board of Super-
visors on October 1, 1970, as the preliminary general
plan for Los Angeles County, set forth therein as
relating to Open Space, including particularly that
system of Open Space belts defined in Chapter X thereof
on pages 64 through 68 thereof; and
including the maps showing the areas designated therein
as open space; and
including the maps showing the areas designated therein
as open space; and
including and,adding thereto a method for inventorying
open space and a timetable for completion of this final
open space plan by June 30, 1973, as required by Sections
65563, 65564 and 65910 of the Government Code.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 10th day of October, 1972.
