RESOLUTION OF THE,._CI.TY COUNCIL., OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS.RE.LATING TO THE ENVIRONMENT
WHEREAS, the quality of life and the environment in
and surrounding the City of Rolling Hills is and has been of
.paramount. concern to this Council; and
WHEREAS, the Declaration of Covenants,'Conditions and
Restrictions which established the Rolling Hills Community
Homeowners Association provides review procedures for any
proposed construction within the boundaries of that declara-
tion; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide a high-quality
environment, for the people of this city, that is at all times
healthful and pleasing to the senses and intellect of those
people; and

WHEREAS, this Council; the Rolling Hills Planning Com-
mission; the Rolling Hills Community Romeowners Association, its
Board of Directors and Architectural Committee; and the profess-
ional .staffs of these.various bodies are charged, among other
things, with the specific consideration of all environmental
factors relating to the granting of leases, permits or compar-
able entitlements; and
WHEREAS, each of any of these, various bodies has con-
sidered all of the environmental factors relating to the granting
of any leases, permits or comparable entitlements and has found
no significant environmental impact in any of the projects so
considered;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: that the City
Council of the City of Rolling Hills finds that since no signi-
ficant environmental effect can be attributed to any project
granted a permit, license, lease or comparable entitlement
prior to.the date of this resolution, it is the determination
of this Council that no Environmental Impact Report as described
by Public Resources Code Chapter 3, Section 21100 et. seq. shall
be required by this city for any such project.
