0322RESOLUTION NO. 322 A RESOLUTION OF THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, TO -PARTICIPATE IN THE JUVENILE DIVERSION PROJECT SPONSORED BY THE CITY OF REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS., the City of Rolling Hills desires to participate in the South Bay Juvenile Diversion Project sponsored by the City of Redondo Beach, California, to be funded in part from funds available through the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe,Streets Act of 1968, PL 90-355, as amended, PL 91-644, (hereafter referred to as the Safe Streets Act) administered by the California Council on Criminal Justice (hereafter referred to as C.C.C.J.)o NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Rolling Hills will participate in planning and carrying forward the purposes of the South Bay Juvenile Diversion Project in a sum not to exceed $100.00 dollars. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide necessary matching funds required for the said project under the Safe Street Act and the rules and regulations of C.C.C.J. and the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration and that each wi-1 be appropriated as required thereby. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to supplant on-going law enforcement expenditures.
