RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, RE TEMPORARY
EMPLOYMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills does
occasionally have the opportunity to employ on a temporary basis
students or individuals seeking experience in the field of municipal
government without the payment of salary or other compensation,, and
WHEREAS, the employment of such.individuals and students is
mutually beneficial to the City,.and to the employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager of the
City of Rolling Hills be authorized to employ temporary administrative
or clerical help without compensation upon the condition that the said
employees shall agree with the City of Rolling Hills to continue.their.
employment with the City for a period of not less than six months from
the date of their employment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all temporary help employed by
the City of Rolling Hills in accordance with the terms of this
resolution shall be considered as employees of the City of Rolling
Hills and shall be insured under the City's workmen's compensation
policy of insurance.
