SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
June 3, 1963
A special meeting of the City Council of the
City of.R611ing Hills was held Monday, June 3, 1963 at
'7:00 P.M., in the City Hall.
CALL TO ORDER
On motion of Councilman O'Flaherty, seconded by
Councilman Tourtelot Resolution No. 160 entitled "A
Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rolling
Hills Supporting the Location of the South Bay State
College in the City of Torrance and Opposing the Location
of said College in the Rolling Hills Area of the Palos
Verdes Peninsula," was adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Goodman, Tourtelot, O'Flaherty,
Mayor Amberg
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Van Note
Resolution No. 160 is set forth in full in the
Book of; Resolutions.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before
the meeting it was moved by Councilman O'Flaherty,
seconded by Councilman Tourtelot and unanimously carried
that the meeting adjourn at 7:20 P.M.

PURPOSE OF MEETING
Councilman
Goodman announced that as Mayor pro
tempore he had called
the meeting to
discuss the location
of the new South Bay
State College.
RESOLUTION N.O. 160
On motion of Councilman O'Flaherty, seconded by
Councilman Tourtelot Resolution No. 160 entitled "A
Resolution of the City Council of the City of Rolling
Hills Supporting the Location of the South Bay State
College in the City of Torrance and Opposing the Location
of said College in the Rolling Hills Area of the Palos
