RESOLUTION NO, 347
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF MONIES FROM THE GENERAL FUND FOR CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS FOR TENNIS FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills has
heretofore established a budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1,
19.75, and ending June 30, 1976, and this budget, among other things,
provided for the expenditure of $14,000 for recreational purposes; and
WHEREAS, a group of citizens of the City of Rolling Hills,
known as the "Tennis Club", appeared before the City Council and .
requested the Council to set aside the sum of $41,000 for the purpose of
constructing capital improvements in connection with providing
additional tennis courts or other improvements in connection therewith;
and
WHEREAS, the -City Council of the City of Rolling Hills
believes that there is a need for additional tennis facilities in the
City of Rolling Hills;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager be
directed to set aside in a separate fund the sum of $43000 to be used
for the purpose of making capital improvements in connection with tennis
facilities in the City of Rolling Hills.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that all of said monies shall be
expended in accordance with law and the appropriate statutes relating
thereto,
