RESOLUTION NO. 361 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, DECLARING THAT THE DATES OF MAY 1 AND 2, 1976 BE SET APART AND REFERRED TO AS PENINSULA MUSIC FAIR WEEKEND WHEREAS, the Peninsula Committee for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra will sponsor the Fifth Annual Peninsula Music Fair May 1 and 2, 1976, to be held on the campus of Chadwick School on the Palos Verdes Peninsulas and WHEREAS, the Peninsula Music Fair will offer superb music for the enjoyment of all ages of persons of the entire Palos Verdes Peninsula as well as for the enjoyment of music lovers from through- out Southern Californias and WHEREAS, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra will perform two concerts and other internationally -known musicians and other performing groups from throughout the Southern California area, including the Palos Verdes Peninsula, will offer a broad range of entertainment which will include classical, Jazz, bluegrass, ragtime, woodwind ensemble music, ethnic dancing and a full program of enter- tainment for children; and , WHEREAS, the excellent quality of this fund-raising event for the benefit of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra adds to the prestige of the community; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the officials of the City of Rolling Hills declare that the dates of May 1 and 2, 1976 be set apart and referred to as Peninsula Music Fair Weekend, - PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 26th day of April, 19760 //X� - 7- I _ - -, I�a.yor hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills, California at a regular meeting thereof held on the 26th day of April, 1976 by the following vote of the Council- AYES- Councilmembers Crocker, Heinsheimer, Pernell, Swenson NOES- None ABSENT- Mayor Rose Oity C1er i
