A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS APPROVING ASSIGNMENT BY CITY TO THE CITY OF
RANCHO PALOS VERDES ONE-HALF OF THE THREE YEAR APPORTION-
MENT OF FEDERAL AID URBAN FUNDS FOR THE FISCAL YEARS OF
1973-743, 1974-75, AND 1975-76.
WHEREAS,, the City of Rolling Hills has determined that one-
half of the Three Year Apportionment of Federal Aid Urban Funds
allocated to the City for the fiscal years of 1973-749 1974-75 and
1975-76 would benefit the City if the funds were assigned to the
neighboring City of Rancho Palos Verdes, the City therefore requests
transfer of these funds to the City of Rancho -Palos Verdes.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION to The City shall assign to the City of Rancho Palos
Verdes one-half of the Three Year Apportionment of Federal Aid Urban
V Funds in the estimated amount of $1.2,300000 allocated to the City for
V the fiscal years of 1973-74, 1974®75 and 1.975-76, such funds to be
applied toward the development of a left -'hand turn pocket at the inter-
section of Palos Verdes Drive East and Eastfield Road.
SECTION 2. The City Council requests that the Joint
Cooperative Federal Aid Urban Committee indicate acceptance of this
conveyance of funds at its earliest convenience.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward
certified copies of this Resolution to the Joint Cooperative Federal
Aid Urban Committee, California Department of Transportation, and to
the Los Angeles County Road Commissioner.
