RESOLUTION NO. 377
A RESOLUTION' OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
PROCLAIMING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER, 1976 AS "WeTIP MONTH IN
THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS.
WHEREAS, the WeTIP organization has waged a courageous and highly
successful fight against the drug users and those who sell or push drugs on
the streets of this and every other community; and
WHEREAS, WeTIP is a non-profit, state-wide, anti-drug program
that concentrates not on the small or occasional user, but, instead on
the supplier or pusher; and
WHEREAS, in its four and one-half years of operation WeTIP has
accounted for $17,735,097 in confiscations; and
'WHEREAS, WeTIP inspired narcotics investigations have resulted
in some 1211 arrests, over. 700 convictions; and
-WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills,
California, wishes to express its full support to -the WeTIP program;

U_ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the -City Council of the
City of Rolling Hills, California, does hereby proclaim November, 1976, as
V "WeTIP MONTH"
in th%b City of Rolling Hills and urges all citizens in all communities
to support, to their utmost, the WeTIP approach to combating drug sales
and abuse in. this Nation.
