0378a- -- J_•, RESOLUTION NO. 378 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS FIXING A PENALTY FOR THE FAILURE TO SECURE AND PAY THE FEE FOR A DOG LICENSE WITHIN THE TIME SPECIFIED BY SECTION 4004• OF ORDINANCE NO, 136 r WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of -Rolling Hills adopted Ordinance No. 136 on the 9th day.of February, 1976, and said ordinance was effective thirty -days after its adoption, and is now in full force and effects and WHEREAS, Section 4004 of said Ordinance provides that dog. licenses shall be obtained within thirty (30) days after the expiration date of.the issued license, and failure to so obtain such license is subject to penalty as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached to -said Ordi- nance; and WHEREAS, Exhibit "A", attached to Ordinance No. 136, presently provides for no penalty for failure to renew a dog license; and WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to fix a penalty for the failure of a licensee to secure a license within the time specified in Section 4004 of said Ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City_ of Rolling Hills, that Exhibit "A" shall be amended to provide that the penalty for failure to obtain a license within the time specified in Section 4004 shall be the sum of $25,00.
