03842,361 RESOLUTION NO. 384 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY COMMONLY DESIG- NATED AND REFERRED TO AS THE "CRENSHAW GATE AREA" TO THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS The City Council of the City of Rolling Hills does ordain as follows: Section to APPROVAL OF TRANSFER OF TERRITORY: The trans- fer of territory hereafter described and designated as the "Crenshaw Gate Area" under the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory act of 1939 comprising Government Code Sections 35,000 - 35,300 is approved. Section 20 The property transferred from the City of Rancho Palos Verdes to the City of Rolling Hills is more particularly- described articularlydescribed in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof by this references Section 3. FILING OF DOCUMENTS TO COMPLETE TRANSFER:.: The City Clerk is direct -P _t0__ tran.sm t. five certitied copies of this Resolution to the Local Agency Formation Commission of Los Angeles County together with five copies of the legal description of the boundary change and six copies of the map showing the boundaries of the area transferred, to be transmitted to the Secretary of State, the County Assessor, the County Recorder and the State Board of Equaliza- tion, pursuant to Sections 54,900 - 54,902 of the Government Code of the State of California, and to execute and file an affidavit of completion with the County Recorder of Los Angeles County pursuant to Government Code Section 34,080. Section 4. TAX STATEMENT° The City Council finds that the territory trans_fere'd to the City of Rolling Hills will not be taxed for any bonded indebtedness or contractual obligation. Section_ 5. POSTING.- The City Council finds that there is no newspaper ®f-gerierai-genepublished and circulated in the City of Rolling H411s, and therefore, within fifteen days after the passage of this Resolution, the City Clerk shall have posted in three public places designated by resolution of the City Council, or published in a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the County and circulated in the City.
