HILLS, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE RATE OF TAXES FOR THE
FISCAL - t
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 11 1977 AND ENDING JUNE 30 108
WHEREAS; by resolution heretofore adopted pursuant to the
Code provisions of Section 51508 of the Government d _--ok the -- State J. te of
California, the City Council fixed $69,053 as the amount of revenue
from property taxes necessary to support the I departments of the City
of Rolling Hills -for the - current fiscal year c-ommencing July 1 - , 1977
-
and ending June 30, 1978, and
WHERE-A�S, the City -of Rolling Hills previously elected to
assume flitfaiid"ia'i-'iespons.-ibility for services provided City residents
by the Consolidated Fik6*'Protection-District pursuant to Section
43073 (a) of the',.'doverfiment Code, and
WHEREAS, the total assessed value of all property within
the City of Rolling Hills.is $27,621,085
NOW, THEREFORE pursuant to Section 51511 of the Government
Code of the State of California, the City Council of the City of
Rolling Hills does resolve as follows!
1. RESOLVED, that there is hereby levied for municipal
purposes upon each ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ( $100.00) worth (assessed
valuation) of property in the CityofRolling Hills, exclusive of.
property which is tax exempt, -for fiscal year commencing July 1,
1977 and ending June 30., 178, a tax of Twenty-five cent's ,($ * x.25).:
2. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that pursuant to Section 43073 (b)
of the Government Code, the tax rate of the City of Rolling Hills
shall be increased by an amount equal to the amountj- of the tax rate
set by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles for the
Consolidated Fire Protection District for the 1977-78 Fiscal Year.
3. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Clerk shall certify _
to the passage of this resolution by the City Council of the City of
Rolling Hills, and cause the same to be.posted
posted in three (3) conspic�
nous places in the City of Rolling Hills, and it shall take effect
immediately.
4. RESOLVED, FURTHER that the City Clerk be, and she
hereby is, instructed to file with the County Auditor of the County
of Los Angeles on or before September 1, 1977 a certified copy of
this resolution.
