A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
APPROVING APPLICATION OF ITS 1974 STATE GRANT FUNDS FOR
DAPPLEGRtiAY PARK IN THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS ETATESa
WHEREAS, the people of the State of California have enacted the
"STATE BEACIJ, PARK, RECREATIONAL AND HISTORICAL FACILITIES BOND ACT OF
19744" which provides funds to the State of California and its political
subdivisions for acquiring lands and developing facilities for public
outdoor recreation and historical purposes; and
WHEREAS, the State Department of Parks and Reckeation has been
delegated the responsibility for the administration of the program
within the State, setting up necessary procedures governing applica-
tion by local agencies under the program; and
WHEREAS, said procedures established by the State Department of
Parks and Recreation require the applicant to certify by resolution
the approval of applications prior to submission of said applications
to the State; and
WHEREAS, said applications contain assurances that the applicant
must comply with; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No, 382 approved and adopted on March 28,
1977 this City did declare its intent to authorize its 1974 Grant to
be utilized by the City of Rolling Hills Estates; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills Estates has agreed to utilize
the Grant from the City of Rolling Hills to develop Dapplegray Park
which development will contain facilities to be used and enjoyed by
City of Rolling Hills citizens;
NOW -T--HER--FORE; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1; Approves the filing of an application for 1974 State
Grant Assistance to be used by the City of Rolling Hills Estates; and
SECTION 2,. Has been assured that the City of Rolling Hills Estates
understands and will comply with the assurances in the application; and
SECTION 3: Has been assured that the City of Rolling Hills Estates
has sufficient funds to operate and maintain the completed Dapplegray
Park; and
SECTION 46 Has been assured that the City of Rolling -1 -4 -ills Estates
meets the planning requirements and that the profec�t is compatible with
the land use plans of those jurisdictions immediately surrounding the project,

SECTION 5e Appo,ints the City Manager as agent of the City to con-
duct all negotiations, execute and submit in concert with the City of
Rolling Hills Estates all documents including but not limited to appli-
cations; agregments� amendments payment requests; and so on whieh tray
be necessary for the completion of the Dapplegray Park project; and
SECTION 6; The City Clerk shall certify_to the adoption of this
Resolution and shall eause -saline to be filed With the necessary persons
and agencies®
