0406RESOLUTION NO. -406 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS UNDER THE STATE LITTER CONTROL, RECYCLING AND RESOURCE RECOVERY FUNDS WHEREAS, the Legislature of the'State of California has jnacted the State Litter Control, Recycling and Resource Recovery Act hich provides funds to certain entities for litter cleanup, litter law nforcement, litter education, and purchase of litter receptacles; and WHEREAS, the State Solid Waste Management Board has been delegated the responsibility for the administration of the program, setting up necessary procedures governing application by local agencies under the program; and WHEREAS, said-p.rocedures established by the State Solid Waste Management Board require the applicant to certify the approval of applications.prior.to submission of said application to the state; U_ U_ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE U -CITY OF- ROLLING HILLS V V funding and SECTION 1. Approves the filing of an application for under the Litter Control, Recycling and Resources Recovery Fund; SECTION 2. Certifies that said agency understands the general provisions of the grant agreement; and . SECTION 3. Hereby allocates all of its eligible funds under the Litter Control, Recycling and Resource Recovery Fund to the City of Rolling Hills Estates who will be the lead agency and will provide all ay -to -day administration. SECTION 4.
