RESOLUTION NO. 409
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS EXTENDING CONTRACT TO PROVIDE ANIMAL
SHELTER SERVICE BY THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR
THE YEAR COMMENCING JULY 13, 1979, AND ENDING
JUNE 30, 1980.
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills, on June 30, 1978, entered
into a written agreement with the County of Los Angeles which provided,
among other things, that the County Department of Animal Control will
provide animal shelter service for the City of Rolling Hills for a
period of one year beginning July 1, 1978, and ending June 30, 1979;
and
WHEREAS, said written contract is now in full force and
effect and has not been terminated by either the City or the County;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills desires to extend said
contract at the expiration thereof on June 30, 1979, for a period of
an additional year commencing July 1, 1979, and ending June 30, 1980;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Rolling Hills that the City of Rolling Hills be authorized to
enter into a written agreement with the County of Los Angeles pro-, "
viding for the furnishing of animal shelter service to the City of
Rolling Hills by the Department of Animal Control of said Los Angeles
County for a period of one year commencing July 1, 1979, and ending
June 30, 1980, and that a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded
to the Chief Administrative Officer of the County of Los Angeles for
action by the Board of Supervisors.
