RESOLUTION NO. 422
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS CONCURRING WITH AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO
THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills,
on October 22, 1979, adopted as Ordinance No. 171 "AN ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING BY REFERENCE
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES ESTABLISHING A SOLID
WASTE ORDINANCE FOR SAID COUNTY AND AMENDING THE ADMINISTRATIVE
CODE AND BUSINESS LICENSE ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE REGULATION
OF SOLID WASTE HANDLING AND DISPOSING, AND DESIGNATED AS 'SOLID
WASTE ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES'"; and
WHEREAS, the State Solid Waste Management Board approved
the Los Angeles County Solid Waste. Management Plan on December 16,
1977, as meeting the requirements of Section 66780, Title 7.3 of
the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, during approximately one year of implementation
of the Plan a number of changes have occurred and requests for re-
visions have been received which resulted in the preparation of
Amendment No. 2 to the County Solid Waste Management Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Amendment No. 2 is subject to the approval
by the majority of the cities within incorporated areas of the
County; and
WHEREAS, the Amendment No. 2 was submitted to the City
of Rolling Hills for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Rolling Hills approves Amendment No. 2.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 26th day of November,
