A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA NOTIFYING THE BOARD
OF SUPERVISORS OF THE CITY COUNCIL'S INTENTION
TO RETAIN LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills
engages the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department as its general
law enforcement agnecy; and
WHEREAS, the current contract required the City to notify --
the Board of Supervisors of its intent prior to December 31 of the
year preceeding expiration of said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of
the City of Rolling Hills wishes to renew its contract with the
County of Los Angeles to provide law enforcement services to the
City through the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 10th day of December, 1979.
