RESOLUTION NO. 430
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS EXTENDING THE CONTRACT TO PROVIDE
ANIMAL SHELTER -,SERVICE BY THE COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES FOR THE YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1; 1980
AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1981
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills, on June 30, 1979,
entered into a written agreement with the County of Los Angeles.
which provided, among other things, that the County Department
of Animal Control will provide animal shelter service for the
City of'Rolling Hills for a period of one year beginning July 1,
1979 and ending June 30, 1980; and
WHEREAS, said written contract is now in full force and
effect and has not been terminated by either the City or the
County; and
WHEREAS, the City. of Rolling Hills desires to extend said
contract at the expiration thereof on June 30, 1980.for a period.
of an additional year commencing July 1, 1980 and ending June 30,
1981;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Rolling Hills that the City of Rolling Hills be authorized
to enter into a written agreement with the County -of Los Angeles
providing for the furnishing of animal shelter service to the City
of Rolling Hills by the Department of Animal Control of said Los
Angeles County for a period of one year commencing July 1, 1980 and
ending June 30, 1981, and that a certified copy of -this Resolution
be forwarded to the Chief Administrative Officer of the County of
Los Angeles for action by the Board of Supervisors.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 10th day of March, 1980.
