A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA,- APPROVING ASSIGNMENT
TO THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS ESTATES ALL OF ITS
AVAILABLE FEDERAL AID URBAN SYSTEM FUNDS AS
APPORTIONED TO THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS UNDER
THE FEDERAL SURFACE TRANSPORTATION ACTS OF 1976 -
AND 1978 FOR FISCAL YEARS 1976-77, 1977-78,
1979-80 1980-81 AND 1981-82
WHEREAS the City of Rolling Hills has available a fund
apportionment in the approximate amount of $51,400 under the Federal
Surface Transportation Acts of 1976 and 19.78, Federal Aid to Urban
System Program for fiscal years 1976-77, 1977-78) 1978-79, 19.79-80)
1980-81, and 1981-82, and;
WHEREAS.,_the City of Rolling Hills Estates requests that
it be assigned the City of Rolling Hills Federal Aid Urban -Program.,
Funds as described above for improvements to the intersection of
Rolling Hills Road/Palos Verdes Drive North in the City of Rolling
Hills Estates, and;
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills has determined that it.
wouldbenefit from improvements to the Rolling Hills Road/Palos
Verdes Drive North intersection in the City of Rolling Hills Estates
for which these funds will be used;
NOW, THEREFORE) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE., DECLARE,, DETERMINE AND
ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. .The
The City of Rolling Hills shall assign to the,
City of Rolling Hills Estates a sum of fifty-one thousand four hun-:.'.
dred dollars ($51,400) representing the City of Rolling Hills
available funds under the Federal Surface Transportation Acts of
1976 and 1978, Federal Aid to Urban System Program previously allo-
cated to the City of Rolling Hills for Fiscal Years 1976-77, 1977-.78D
1978-79, 1979-80, 1980-81 and 1981-82.
SECTION 2. The City Council requests that the Joint Co-
operative Federal Aid Urban Committee indicate acceptance of this
conveyance of -funds at its earliest convenience.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward
certified copies of this resolution to the City of Rolling Hills
Estates, Joint Cooperative Federal Aid Urban Committee, Los.Ahgel.es
County Road Commissioner and the California Department of Transport-
ation.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall.certify to the pa ' ssage
and adoption of this resolution, shall cause the same to be entered
in the book of resolutions of the City ofRolling Hills, and shall
make a minute of the passage and adoption -thereof in the records of
the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of
the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
